Location: Anson General Hospital, Iroquois Falls ON

Contract: Temporary Part-Time position

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) provides safe, high-quality nursing care to patients and residents across the MICs Group of Health Services, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario.

As a key member of the Patient Care Team, the RPN supports direct patient care, medication administration, care planning, and patient and family education. The RPN works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, demonstrates sound clinical judgment, and maintains accurate records while promoting a safe and respectful environment.

This role requires a commitment to patient safety, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse with a Valid Certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Must hold and maintain a current certificate in BCLS – Heart and Stroke, Medication Administration, IV Therapy
• Physical ability to perform job duties
• Experience with computers including Outlook, PCS/Meditech
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to speak French considered an asset
• A satisfactory criminal record check will be required by the successful candidate as a condition of employment.
