Location : Iroquois Falls, ON Hourly Rate : $16.55 per hour
Start date : Mon., June 3, 2024 Term : 35 hours per week for 8 weeks
Job description: The Summer Event Coordinator will work with the Iroquois Falls
Arts Council (IFAC) employee to provide art-related opportunities for children and
adults in the community.

Sample duties and responsibilities include :

• assist with the Boreal Growth mural;
• organize the IFAC Canada Day booth children’s’ art activities;
• video and still camera recording of events & activities;
• help plan art workshops and art camp activities;
• create campaigns for Canada Helps and Giving Tuesday;
• post items to social media;
• other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• good oral and written communications skills;
• strong computer skills (Google Drive, Facebook, Canva, etc);
• applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
• applicant must be between the ages of 15 and 30 at the start of the funded position;
• applicant must have a valid SIN.
