​Anticipated period of assignment: June 26 - July 17, 2026        

Vacancy Details:    52.5 hours in total (14 days with 3 hours per day of learning with students; 7 hours prep/marking/communication with families; 3.5 hours of training to occur Friday June 26th)

District School Board Ontario North East is providing a Summer Learning Program for mathematics and language for students in Grade Kindergarten to Grade 6. The program includes the delivery of interactive and engaging lessons through in-person learning in the Central Region. Learning will take place 3 hours daily. Positions are subject to student registration numbers.

Grade K – 3 Mathematics and Language (English) - 3 Teachers

Grade 4 – 6 Mathematics and Language (English) - 1 Teacher

Qualifications:                                                                                                                                        

·         Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation                                                                                

·         Primary and/or Junior qualifications                                                                                                  

·         Reading Part 1 qualifications – preferred                                                                                              

·         Special Education qualifications – preferred                                                                

·         Mathematics qualifications – preferred 

Compensation:  $59.95/hour
