The Maintenance & Grounds Operator is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of the campground property throughout the season.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role under the direction of the Chief Maintenance Officer. You will execute daily maintenance tasks, perform preventative inspections, and respond to operational issues across the property.  It is an execution-focused position responsible for completing assigned work to a high standard.

• Complete daily maintenance and grounds task lists
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections
• Address plumbing, electrical, and minor repair issues
• Assist with septic-related tasks and equipment maintenance
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment
• Maintain roads, sites, and common areas
• Perform landscaping, trimming, and grounds upkeep
• Cut, split, and pile wood as required
• Respond to urgent maintenance concerns
• Document completed tasks and end of shift reports in Connecteam
• Report supply or repair needs to management

Guest interaction is part of this role and must be handled professionally.
 

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Comfort working outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions
• Physical capability for lifting, walking, and equipment operation
• Ability to follow direction and complete tasks thoroughly
• Pride in maintaining high property standards

This is a physically active position. It is not a sit-down role.
 

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Comfortable operating tools and equipment
• Employment conditional upon satisfactory Criminal Record Check
